Try this ... It has for me a few times.

Turn off the computer, unplug the PS2 mouse caught, clean dust collection, connect the mouse and start ... If that does not go to new mouse ....

She has a good attempt to checkin in Device Manager, which I would normally suggest.

From your computer does not recognize yoru mouse, the problem - the dust on the side of the plug. Or the problem port.

Please, you can disconnect and connect to another port?
Clean the connectors on both ends (you should turn off the computer)
It has spare a mouse Witha to see if the computer is really good, or that the problem of the mouse? recommended a good idea (). If it works, then you should get a new one:)

If a USB mouse does not work, you must restart the computer, as plug and play!
